CONEXPO-CON/AGG: The Ultimate Guide
Everything you need to know in one place. Including where to find the MCM Team during the show!
ConExpo is not just another industry event. It is the largest construction trade show in North America and one of the few opportunities to see equipment, technology, and OEM direction side by side in one week.
If ConExpo is on your calendar or even a possibility, this guide pulls everything into one place so you can plan smarter and get more out of your time on the ground.
What is ConExpo and who attends?
CONEXPO-CON/AGG brings together more than 2,000 manufacturers, dealers, and technology providers from across the construction industry. Attendance regularly exceeds 130,000 industry professionals, including contractors, fleet managers, owners, operators, and decision makers.
The show covers earthmoving, paving, aggregates, lifting, utilities, technology, and fleet support. If technology, equipment updates, networking, or future purchases matter to your operation, ConExpo is worth attending.
Where ConExpo is located
ConExpo takes place at the Las Vegas Convention Center, with both indoor halls and large outdoor exhibit yards. The total show footprint spans nearly 3 million square feet.
This matters for planning. Where you stay, how you move between halls, and which areas you prioritize will directly affect how much you are able to see each day. (Note: If you don’t already have your stay booked, expect limited availability, high rates, and longer drive times.)
ConExpo 2026 dates and hours
Dates: March 3–7, 2026
Location: Las Vegas Convention Center
Typical show hours:
- Tuesday through Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Most exhibitors follow this schedule, though demos and meetings may start earlier.
How big ConExpo really is and why planning matters
ConExpo is too large to “walk and see what happens.”
Experienced attendees plan ahead by:
- Identifying priority OEMs and booths
- Grouping stops by hall or outdoor yard
- Scheduling conversations before arriving
- Leaving room for machines they did not expect to see
Trying to cover everything usually leads to missed booths and wasted walking time.
What to expect on the show floor
Expect full-size machines, new model launches, and technology demonstrations you cannot experience online.
Across recent shows, major themes include:
- Equipment designed for versatility across applications
- Increased emphasis on telematics and jobsite data
- Operator-focused cab and control improvements
- Electric and alternative power options in select equipment classes
ConExpo is where OEMs show what they believe contractors, maybe like you, will care about next.
OEM booths worth planning around
Hitachi Construction Machinery
Hitachi will feature a variety of equipment at their booth at the Festival Grounds, including the ZX500LCK, ZW120-7, and ZW140-7. Stop by booth number F19012 to see it all!

Yanmar
Yanmar will have “Yanmar talks” and voices from the field plus showcasing a variety of reliable and new compact equipment. If you don’t want to miss out on their remote operation demonstration from over 6,000 miles away, you’ll want to be at booth W43221at 1pm Tuesday or 5pm on Saturday!

Link-Belt Excavators (LBX Company)
Link-Belt is bringing the fun at ConExpo this year with a variety of fun events. From excavator showdowns to dice rolls to a “Pink-Belt” Auction, the booth F35043 should have one of the more interactive showcases in heavy equipment.
SANY

John Deere/Wirtgen Group
John Deere’s exhibit generally emphasizes earthmoving equipment and integrated jobsite solutions. At this event, catch them at the Silver Lot – SV2415, where they will introduce upgrades to their backhoe fleet and compact excavator models!
What to wear to ConExpo
The single most important advice:
Break in your shoes well before the trip. New boots or shoes will ruin your week quickly.
Recommended:
- Broken-in work boots or walking shoes
- Lightweight layers for indoor and outdoor areas
- Hat and sunglasses for outdoor exhibits
- Pants with functional pockets
- A small backpack or sling bag
What to bring to ConExpo
Practical items that actually help:
- Your own refillable water bottle
- Portable phone charger
- Phone storage cleared for photos
- Notes app or small notebook
- Business cards or digital contact info
Photos of spec boards and placards often end up being more useful than printed brochures.
One tip that saves time all day:
Have your must-see stops saved directly on your phone. For example:
- A show map set as your phone lock screen
- A short “must-see booths” list pinned in their Notes app
This keeps key information accessible without digging through emails or PDFs while walking the show.

Planning your days at ConExpo
Productive attendees tend to:
- Start early and handle outdoor yards first
- Use a lock screen map or pinned notes instead of printed guides
- Focus on one main objective per day
- Build simple routes instead of wandering hall to hall
ConExpo rewards preparation more than speed.
